Hi Jeff, the cloth badge is the Luftwaffe Paratroopers qualification badge. There is also a metal version of this badge. Yours is the active service version that was sewn on the jacket. From the front this looks OK, but to be sure, a photo of the back will be needed. If you can, post a pic of this this badge up in the Fallschirmjager forum here on this site to get a definate answer. A pic of the back will be needed, as copies of these are now very good and the reverse is usually the givaway.
The two lanyards, the silver braided cords, are Army (Heer in German) marksmanship awards. These look good. The one on the left is for Panzer troops while the one on the right is the general award used by the rest of the Army, Infantry, etc. This one is the 2nd pattern design. These were worn on parade and walking out uniforms and not in action.
      Hope this helps you?
Cheers and welcome to the forum,
      Ade.

              U-BOAT BADGE WITH DIAMONDS

I have reduced your photo of your U-Boat Badge with diamonds. It can be viewed a bit better. My opinion is that the badge is not original. Please post a clear scan of the reverse if possible.

                  sub clasps

The silver one doesn't look like it's made out of zinc. (Whatever it's made out of, get it away from that foam!)
                  Can we see the backs?

I am most likely going to sell these pieces- if I can - is there any value if they are repros?
