Very nice zinc Katz & Deyhle. I'm wondering about that packet, though. I've never seen a font quite like that before. Is that packet marked to Katz & Deyhle? Very interesting!
You may want to post that packet in the Cases and Packets sub-forum.
Best regards,
Tom

I am re-posting the fake Katz & Deyhle Luftschutz packet so we don't lose a good reference if Ian's pictures should happen to vanish from the thread.
Fake Katz & Deyhle packet front and inset at bottom shows the fake Katz & Deyhle maker markings from reverse of packet:Attached FilesMihi libertas necessest!

and so on it goes....
Hi guys,
8 pages and 115 posts about a Luftschutz Medal. Wow!
I'm afraid, though, that we have drifted off target and it is all my fault.
So to get back on course I will ask:
1. Does anyone else have a '134' marked Luftschutz Medal or even remember seeing one?
2. Does anyone have any kind of German medal with a '134' marking on the suspension ring?
3. Does anyone have a Floch fake Iron Cross that is '134' marked?
Best regards,
TomMihi libertas necessest!

A better idea of the real colour ..
That coloring actually reminds me of an original JFS Infantry Assault Badge packet.

Hi, guys! As everyone knows, Luftschutz medals made of zinc or alu. Here I found an tombak example that is positioned as the original.
Any opinions?

Its made from CUPAL; thin layer of copper on front and back with thick slab of aluminum in between. You can see it well from the side shot.
