    Thanks for the comments!

I could see that the tank looked too big against the backing strip, but because the tank itself had the correct dimensions (43mm x 18mm), I was thrown off.

    Thanks again.

Great detective work Deej, I used to think TDB's were one of my strong areas...
Don't believe everything you read on the internet, that's how WWI got started.

Deejay, can you (or anyone, don't mean to discriminate) tell me what this is (copy, real)? Tank and plate are magnetic, 3 mounting pins, correct weave to back of braid, die struck. Didn't see anything exactly like this in this thread.

Not mine, so no feelings to be hurt.

          Thanks,
          Leroy

          P.S. Tank is 43mm x 18mm.
          Hi Leroy,
sorry for the late reply ... greetings from Afghanistan again with a slow I'net connection ...
This badge I did describe erlier post 127 up to 136. The only difference is the backing. Anyway keep up the good work, it keeps us sharp!

Thanks again! YOU keep up the good work and keep your head down. My brother is going back there next month (for the 2nd time around).
            Best,

                        Tank Killer,

This badge you show; also is already described in this thread (post 165 and on), minor difference in tank colour as written... very scary but please only add nieuw reproductions, I would be glad to help, just send PM, thanks.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

IMO fake! The strip differs from the known original and the tank on these ones is cast from an original

I think the badge in posts 192 & 193 is original.

I still don't believe that there was only one maker of these badges.

                                There were variations.
