          Hi Marco,

I like these types of surprises. Thank you for posting FJ Gefr Steinhofers grave site marker.

I'm looking forward to my trip to Italy on Sunday. Hopefully I will get to see more than just Pisa and Livorno.

          Ciao - Bill

If you're in Tuscany next week you should visit the antique market in Lucca for sure! It's every 3rd weekend of the month, so in this case Septembter 19/20th. I've bought some very interesting FJ portraits there in the past...!

              Jan-Willem,

I will certainly make a visit to Lucca on Saturday the 19th of September. On the map it isn't all that far away from Pisa. Thanks.

Back from my trip to Italy...it felt like I gained a few pounds but in fact actually lost some weight. It must have been all the walking around Pisa and Lucca.

I had a few photos waiting on me when I returned. I won't be posting some of the FJ portraits because they are going into Marc Garlasco's book on FJ Badges. Here is a pic of two FJ's

Sep09 - Interesting Death notice of the three Asboeck brothers. I have had the single death card on Otto Asboeck for quite a few years.
