Also Pic#1216 was taken on Crete. The loc is just east of Maleme. The Ju52 in the background carries the typical markings (Yellow engines and rudder) Of aircraft taking part in this action. When Maleme airfield was too packed with non-servicable aircraft the JU52s started crash-landing on the beach like this one seen here!
