          Here is a picture of field on the hill where some trenches dug up . And the second one made to the hill itself from the back reserve line which German paratroopers took after they lost the hill .

            Then we had some next days of not successful digging , found only emty holes full of MG empty chains and boxes with ammo . Also crazy numbers of shooted cartriges - many of them damaged by splinters . definately crazy buttle was there ...it looks something like this .

                  I decided check the first line of german trenches ...they already been dug up but not professional so i found a strong signal from deep about 5 m from the main trench to the russian lines ( as I understood later it was MG point connected to the trench itself ) Firstly i dug up some russian ammunition and grenades but it was only the items which our soldiers lost when took the german line ...then i checked a deeper and found remains of some man , my first thoughts - it's russian , but then i clean him i saw i made a mistake ...only german equipment on the floor of the hole and FJ boots confirmed this ...

                              to people like you mysteries and questions can still be answered after such

                              Giving the dogtag back to Kurt is a very nice gesture which I think some other
