Hello, I posted these shoulder boards on another forum, it was suggested that they might be LW Felddivision. Any thoughts?

                    Regards, Hardy

The disk above from 27th Luftwaffe J******228;ger Regiment in 14th Luftwaffe feld division comes from a soldier in 27th Luftwaffe J******228;ger Kompanie.
The 14th Luftwaffe feld division was as known stationed in Norway, the first time stationed at some of the large KM batteries. Later most units was in northern Norway, and some was to be included in the heer.
For what its worth, these men was issued among other things for winter use with 1 SS-Windjacke, 1 Wolljacke, 1 Schneehemd, pref. gebirgs or FS-Springerschuhe.

It's my understanding the Luftwaffe had two different green field uniforms; the LW Green HBT uniform and the LW Ground Forces Summer combat uniform. Was the LW Ground Forces Summer combat uniform suppose to be for the LW Field Divisions? Why they need for two different light weight green field uniforms?

Found this Thread today, for me as a Collector of FD Items it is very interesting !

I collect LW FD because my Grandfather served at LW FD 7 as a Stug-Commander in 1942/43. More about him you`ll find here http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=258751

I made a few Quick Shots of some of my FD Stuff

Dog Tags- LNA was Part of Field Division 9 ( http://www.ww2.dk/ground/ln/lnah9.html )
                                - LW Pi 14 was Part of FD 14 ( http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/.../LwPiBtl14.htm and http://www.ww2.dk/ground/pionier/pibtl.htm )

                                Collartabs Sturmgeschütz FD

                                Collartabs Artillerie/Flak/Sturmari/Stug

Collartabs Sturmgeschütz, salty, but I love them !

This M43 is very interesting, it is a converted SS Cap, you can see the " Eagle Shadow " on the left Side. And yes, it is Original, i bought it at the local Fleamarket Years ago for very small Bucks !
