I have this nice picture of Wolf after the Narvik mission on a german Zerstörer on the way back home.

In the picture you can also see Lt Büttner and OLt Tannert ...

Could this be Blücher with Obfw. Möller overseeing training for their next operation ?

Shaun (long time and all that, I hope that you are doing well these days)

Those are great photographs, especially the final image of of Oblt. Wolfgang von Blücher, particularly poignant as to what would unfold only a matter of hours later.

When this virus madness is over, Kreta is definatly on my list of places to visit (with Yannis book of course!).

          Regards Richard
Always looking for Luftwaffe Kampfflieger related document groups. In particular anything to Kampfgeschwader 2.

            Yes it is.
I think that I have the original picture in my collection. The nickname of Obfw. Möller was "The baby" because he was a huge man.
            Best wishes

In 6 years after this photo was taken no one of these three officers would be alive. Sad to see this twist of fate.

Thanks for posting Shaun - I remember this one well Do you think the split image was to add the RK award to an earlier image or just a repair?
