It's an exercise in futility trying to save people from themselves. Time and again 'variations' have been defended by the usual Kahoona here. It's for you, Dave, Dietrich, et al, to prove it's fake. Did you see it made? Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It's pointless. You know what's right, I know what's right and we all disagree on a very limited subset. We enjoy a brotherhood here but we are in danger of getting hit by 'friendly' fire if we aren't careful. Conflict of interest, lack of objectivity... Remember Ralph Nader's book "Who Runs Congress". A very early written tome on the influence of 'big business' on Congress. Special interests dictate the law to a great extent when they are impacted.

It is really too bad about all this, as all it does is cast further doubt over the already muddy issue of oaks and oaks and swords restrikes. Would anyone own one of these pieces at this point that does not have rock solid provenance? It really spooks me when someone like Gordon says he does not care to own either piece due to concern over restrikes!Comment

Here is a prototype RK w/oaks/swords I have in my collection. It dates to about 400 A.D. Tribal but absolutely a cross of the wehrmacht.
