                The last Mappen date from end of December 1942. Maybe there are still some around for early January 1943. At the end of 1942 2205 Knights Cross awards were made, so that is approximately the amount of Mappen made.

                Most of them (the later ones) are not signed.

                      The March 1943 was - when original - a blanko mappe. Not signed !
                      The showing signature on this mappe March 1943 had nothing do with a autopen or orignal signature.

                            Agreed...the signature is definitely not an autopen. I won't comment on originality though without seeing better pics.

                              A tiny photo of the funeral pillow belonging to brillantenträger Hasso von Manteuffel.

                              I remember seeing his RK around here.. but I cannot find it. If someone has the picture, please post it.
