I'm asking because I recently read a name of someone supposedly signing for the Führer.

I read the name again finally...

        QUOTE
Adolf Hitler very rarely signed any documents and this chore was relegated to an officer in the Army Personnel Office or, for State papers, to a member of the Führerkanzelei named Vitttorio von Ihne who signed thousands of “original” Hitler papers for years.

Any info on this "Vittorio von Ihne" ?!?!?

        Cheers,
        Markus

It would be interesting to find out about him, can we start another thread on it to save this one?

RK awarded to Oberst Karl Ens
              Kommandeur II. / Infanterie-Regiment 125
Awarded the Ritterkreuz: May 14th, 1941

A very old auction by Hermann Historica. Apparently, it was the denazified version of his RK.

Hi! A Romanian friend send me this photo of a display section at the Bucharest Military Museum. According to him, the RK that can be seen below the uniform, belonged to General Petre Dumitrescu.

I asked him for a better photo if possible, so we have to wait I guess

The only grouping I know for sure within the Museum is the one of General Radu Korne (already uploaded here).

More photos of the document. One thing I don't understand is why it's written "Adalbert", when the correct name is "Adelbert"..

                          Hi!

It was Mr. AD Royster's quote, I believe.

Then it is absolutely correct and needs no further proof!
