Hello Robert, the flaw is there on mine but it is not on the top arm.

On mine facing the date and swaz it is on the right hand arm of the cross.
I suppose they were not too worried about which way the top frame was applied but what is on the right of mine is almost identical to whats on the top of yours.

Do want me to post an image of it because I can arrange that but it will be later this week,

Now that you say that I see the flaw at the 3:00 position in post #93. I better check those Souval's a little better when I can't find the flaw at 12:00.

Here it is. It's usually positioned at 12:00 on most crosses. Your cross's frame was turned 90 degrees.
