    Cased 800 4 Knights Cross grouping!

    The veteran's son just sold these at auction - I ended up with the items in the KC group photo, but missed the others. The cross is a 935 ring marked, 800 4 marked specimen, and is frosty in it's case. The DJiG, on the other hand, saw some service.

    Beings as the 800s have been discussed within an inch of their life, I'd like to ask for opinions on this beast. Regards, Robert

        No idea Jimmy, but the vet was a LtCol that wasn't over there until late 1944. Looks like he looted a store - check out the other medals in his group

                              Yes by all means. this may turn out to be very important. That cross looks very familiar ie. I have its twin. The markings including the jump ring appear identical too mine as well as the case.........Thanks Jimmy
