    Thanks George-

Take a look at the piece in frame #27. There is the flaw in the "4" and to the left of the banner there is an "alligator" appearance to the two horzontal lines that are perpendicular to the banner. This seems to be seen when there is the flaw in the "4". Look at the other ones- no flaw in the "4" and separated horizonatal lines.

And here's the flaw I was talking about earlier. This pic is out of focus, but you can still see it -- a small bump on one of the eight o'clock laurel leaves. This feature is present on all four of my Zimmermanns and also (I'm pretty sure.... ) on my Klein.

Thanks George- there is another dimple at about 3:30 to 4:00 as well. I will post some photos tonight when I get home. These small similar flaws are consistent with the same die. The presence of other differences on the very same pieces, and some apparent "crossover" between zimmermans and kleins may suggest a mother/daughter die effect from the same master die pattern.

All these flaws are shared on the heavy and light zimmerman, as well as the klein. Same die?

more interesting is this- same flaw as the zimmerman here. Do you have a close-up of the 2:30 and 3:30 areas I posted as well, Eric? Thanks
