Great photo indeed!! He seems to be wearing the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross and the Hohenzollern House Order, Knights Cross.

Great pic of my old friend ! He spoke very little English, and Bodo & I would have fun kidding him about it. Once at lunch he suddenly quit eating and said "this food is hordible " What a wonderful man he was ! Once he sent me $25.00 in a letter. When I asked him what it was for, he said "a toy for my Daughter " I miss his fun way of looking at life ! Tom

Yes they are Nigel. I have many wonderful memories of those RKT's. I had sent a birth announcement of my Daughter to Artur Becker-Neetz in 1982. I received a congrats card a couple weeks later signed by 5 RKT's. They of course were Fathers & Grandfathers themselves and were like all of us combat vet's not consumed by our time in some damn war. Most of them are gone now, and I consider my self a very lucky man to have called many of them my friends. Tom
