      All EK awards take precedence over KvK type awards. Combat over service. He could have been awarded the DKiS without being awarded the KvK 1 & 2. Rare, but it did happen. Tom

        Those photos of von Kielmansegg and Bennecke are fantastic Sepp!!

        Yes, the DKiS always ranked after the EK1 on 57er ribbon bars from what I have seen.
