        Hi Don
Do you think they changed the design post W1? I saw a pic dated 1925 with a soldier wearing one but can't find it!!! All the post war dudes seem to wear the gold wash jobs, late W1 feldgrau painted.
One of my painted Junker's measures smaller than the norm too. The last one here is the best I've seen, beautiful museum quality.

I see lots of post war pics with guys wearing them, but mostly they are from 1919-21ish. I'm sure there was plenty of left over stock. I do have one made of brass/tombak which has to be post war made.

                        Thanks on my behalf, Don!
                        Bought, paid, awaiting reception.

Gloder, your photo must me post late 1918 due to the wound badge.

Sorry for my earlier, faulty reply.
Was behind an Iphone in the pub, fumbling with those tiny tabs.
I am still sticking to the conclusions.

Just picked up this badge, I was hoping the members would give me their opinions. There is no metal back plate, it appears the prongs have been broken off, and the badge was sewn to the material. Thanks Jon
