This one looks not like a metal badge.

What do you think about it, Don?

Might it be one of those embroidered ones we see with red MG, etc.? The ones some websites are calling "navy MG patches".

Surely you can show us a clearer detail of the MG badge, right?

PS: For those who have not notice it, Alex is the owner of the picture.

The picture is framed so i can't make better scans. The pictures you showed are the best i can do.

I'm sure the badge is embroidered but can't say what colour.

                Regards Alex

What i can see on the shoulder board is a "4X". Maybe he was a member of the IR 92.

                              Hi Don,

I had my eye on one of these for a while now and finally found one for a good price, plus it is a very nice looking marked Juncker piece.

                              Regards,

I have to thank everyone here for the excellent thread.

I spent two days studying and setting up a manual on this subject (my son complained to me that I did not exit the front of this topic). I live in a country that has no military culture and books on these subjects are rare when it does not exist. I do not have one if you want these badges, but I loved to know more about it.

Confess that I was very happy to read the post AndyMac. So said the soldier killed in combat Richard Sonnenschein was being remembered, that's why I collect items like these, to remember the achievements of those who risked their lives for a cause.

I who was a soldier, I know what it is and honor their memory lets not forget their stories.

Great topic! I thank everyone, especially the Doering.
