                    I haven't looked at every post on this thread so if this has been posted before I apologize. At about the 29 minute mark of this video a soldier wearing the MGSS badge is shown. It looks period to me because of the equipment and all the activity in the background, which wouldn't be in a feature movie. What is odd is that the guy with the badge seems to be posing his badge for the camera and nothing else. An interesting bit of film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_hDPwBgE7M&t=1761s

                      Of course, it's period. It's a well-known documentary. I doubt the guy is posing. He appears to just be standing with his arms folded and the MG badge happens to be showing.
