        Chris,

        If YOU like the badge, that's all that matters as its in your collection. I think I have already stated my concerns and I know I'm not the only one. I understand this is not what you want to hear.

        I have suggested you post it on GMIC and ask over there as I know some members that have Meybauer badges and will give you honest opinions on it. IMO, that is in your best interest, whatever may come of it. I do not need to compare this badge to other badges for sale elsewhere and certainly does not prove anything one way or the other as to authenticity.

        Personally, I would not want this badge in my collection, but thats me.

        Don't be looking for an argument just because someone does not feel what you do on this badge.

        Take care and good luck on it!

        Tim

          OK Tim this is all very interesting but it does not answer the questions which were

          do we have;

          - the size of a Meybauer U-Boat badge ?
          - the weight of a Meybauer U-Boat badge ?
          - the pin, hinge and hook of a Meybauer U-Boat ?
          - the trademark of Meybauer U-Boat ?
          - has Carsten sold me a cast copy or not ?

          Lets see if anyone else knows these answers and may be others reading this will have a look at GEM606 on the emedals site. In fact they might even post the image of it,

          Chris

            Hello Marc,

            I am going to get ebony to post a few images of the Juncker Flak to show what I mean about "the cast effect"

            I will comment again when he is finished,
