indeed as march 29th 1934 Der Stahlhelm was renamed Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher Frontkämpferbund (NSDFB). As can be seen in he logo's top left.

March 28, 1934: Durch die vom Reichspräsidenten und dem Führer Adolf Hitler genehmigte Vereinbarung ist die Gründung des NS. Deutschen Frontkämpfer-Bundes (Stahlhelm) vollzogen (erste Bundesverfügung) .

The date is as stated March 28 in a letter from the Bundesleitung (High Command), Berlin March 28, 1934. Also in "Der Ortsgruppenführer" from March 30, 1934. Here it is said to a note from Franz Seldte from March 29, 1934:
yesterday a historical day to remember for all Stahlhelm-members. The important agreement which was made with me with Röhm has been sanctioned by the Reichspräsident and Hitler.
The text for the agreement was included in this periodical. With number 9 from the agreement a new type of badge was mentioned, which included the swastika in connection with the steel-helmet
