Spring School Trip to East Berlin - the date

Hi to all,

I have followed this thread for a while, and just have to say : What a project !!

I would be more than delighted to join you, but none of the proposed dates fits to me... That's life!!

But, if the plans were to be modified, please continue to post here so that I can be kept in he loop.

In fact, I should (Inshallah!!!!) be in Berlin during the week-end of the 13-14 May. I'm sure some of you will be there even during this week-end (Bryan...). Let's hope we will be able to meet... at least with part of the Group, if not with all of it!!!

Let's keep in touch, and see how things (including my schedule) are evolving!!

Hello all,

After a long absence, I'm back. And I think I have something some of you might be interested in but we may need to sort out some additional transport somehow.

Through personal contacts I may be able to get us into some NVA bunker which is only open to the public a few days a year. Another possible option (Saturday only but I may be able to arrange something on Sunday) is a visit to the bunker at Ladeburg near Bernau, which was the Missile Defence Control bunker for Berlin.
