Doug, the tunics in the configuration you have would have been worn from 1970 - 2005.

That configuration consists of the BGS Tab and Federal Eagle.

The tunic in post 148 appears to be identical in design to the army wool tunic worn in the 70s except in a different material. Do you know when this tunic was adopted by the BGS and how long was it worn?

I'd like to say I have a strong background in uniforms, but my primamry focus has been on insignia, with only a rudimentary foundation in uniform styles.

I'll try to do some research and get back to you if I find anything specific out.
