Cunnards badges are all repros. In fairness though he does`nt actually say they are genuine anywhere in the descriptions

Regarding the bid history. I would`nt jump to conclusions.

        Regards,

        Des

Anyone else think the "Mum and Dad" letters sound weird? or to be more accurate totally made up?

The Factory must have found it tough selling fake badges at the time considering the originals were still in such plentiful supply

That's right. All his patches seem to have to have the same backing cloth, appear to have no ageing on them and he has bundles, literally of British Army WWII patches and has been selling them for some time now. I know he doesn't say they are originals but as you say, he doesn't advertise them as repro like most reputable dealers do...

                    Hi,

Des, I have seen loads of "Mum and Dad" letters that have been made using old typewriters etc.. I don't know about these but I would treat them with caution.

Regarding "cunnard", I distinctly remember that he used to sell all his patces as originals. I used to think what a nutcase this man must be. I assume he must have changed the way he does things so people can't get back to him and say "You said the patch was original...!".

Rob, I heard that story before from someone else at a fair last year. I looked at them and laughed.

                    Thanks from Jack.

Anyone got any opinons on these? They went for just over £50. Description is:

Pair of printed cloth pegasus patches for the Airborne Division and a pair of the Airborne strips as worn underneath. Removed from uniform but still good used condition. Not sure if these are genuine or not hence low start. See pics and ask questions.

What makes you say they are fakes? Are there any tell tale signs? If they are I pity the poor bugger who shelled out 50 sheets for them.
