If you view the history for Craig's wikipedia page, you'll also notice a mysterious wiki user has done most of the work for it who has a user name including '1970' whereas Craig's birth year is listed as 1971...
The same user has ONLY edited material relating to the Craig Gottlieb page, Pawn Stars, and more recently the 'Alexander Autographs' page.------------------------------------------------

Just when I thought there could be nothing lower than pond scum, I encounter the contemptible cretin who has been posting edits (solely) to Mr. Gottlieb's Wikipedia page, the Pawn Stars wiki page, Josef Mengele's wiki page, and now, incredibly, my own trade page on Wikipedia - which no one, including my company, has changed in years.
Negative content, addressed by us long ago, was added to our page. What would motivate someone to do that? I can only guess.
I hasten to add the we never touched Mr. Gottlieb's page, but did amend the Mengele entry to grammatically correct the notation that a dispute had arisen over the legitimacy of the passport.
It's clear that the changes made to our Wikipedia page were made with evil intent, to harm our reputation and business.
I demand an immediate explanation from Mr. Gottlieb. Barring a full explanation, I hereby petition this forum for his immediate expulsion.

Oh no, another controversy surrounding a rare artifact brought to the collecting community by CG. He constantly comes on here and complains about how unfairly he is being treated with all the " CG haters", but all I see is he is bringing it all on himself. For all his eagerness to be the " all time best expert" in all history, he makes some very amateurish statements of authenicating and documenting artifacts that only come back to refute his original claims brought forth from him. All the collecting community doing is trying to protect the collecting community and present us in an honorable fashion. WE don't want folks (new collectors or folks interested in history) to think that the collecting community is just full of self promoting , attention grabbing money vultures.

The fact Craig will not provided a single photograph of this "authentic" passport speaks volumes in itself. If it's truly authentic, one should have nothing to hide. Myself being someone neither against nor for Craig, I must admit the constant complaining from him of the "C.G Haters" is quite dubious considering he but almost always brings it upon himself. A quick search would've yielded enough information/evidence for anyone to make an educated guess on the authenticity of this passport; obviously Craig didn't do one.
In my opinion, his going onto the local news without researching this item thoroughly and making false accusation of something that could have been quite historically important, nonetheless which will undoubtably result in another bad image for the TR collecting community is enough for him to be expelled. What he may of done to Mr. Alexander is just another reason, of course he will never admit he did. If one views his past auctions archives you will find several reproductions too; a few early stripped armbands comes to mind.

This is unprofessional and shameful. I kindly ask "Jackdawson1970" to have the decency to adjust the Wikipedia entries of "Josef Mengele" and "Craig Gottlieb" to reflect the truth and not to let such a blatant fake stand in the public record. This is fraud in my opinion.
This stupid affair has now reached a level that is way beyond a discussion on a forum, this is now about lying to the rest of the world who is using wikipedia. A very disgusting offense by "jackdawson1970"!

It speaks volumes ... volumes of me repeating myself that I am NOT conducting play-by-play analysis here for the voyeuristic pleasures of some, the cyber-bullying pursuits of others. I will lay out the findings of an impressive team of researchers, when I am done. For those convinced of their own importance and entitlement, I am sorry to disappoint.

Wouldn't you want to confirm the originality first before releasing to the media/public of a historical find?

Craig,
I applaud your - however extremely belated - research into this passport. However, I also kindly ask you to contact "Jackdawson1970" and ask him to correct the misleading, false, and blatantly promotional entries and revise in the name of truth that extremely strong evidence exists that this passport is a blatant fake and that in the light of this evidence "an impressive team of researchers" has been assembled to go to the bottom of this.
Based on the timely entries of "Jackdawson1970" and the insight he has into your professional life I am under the assumption that you know the guy. If not, he can be contacte via Wikipedia. Or you even can change the entries on your own.
Everything else would be, at least IMHO, a blatant misleading of the interested public. I would not really know at this point in time what to make of it.
