The EAA museum in Oshkosh has (or had) a 1/72 model of the WWII USS Enterprise that's pretty impressive.

It will be interesting to see what planes the Chinese put on their carrier. I can't see anything they've built in the last 20 years put into service, they just aren't that tough enough for the abuse. Interesting to see they went with the ski-jump ramp rather than try and figure out a catapult system. That's really going to limit what they can launch.

That mysterious Chinese stealth fighter reminds me of Eastwood's Firefox.

The two Kanji wordings painted on the rudder of the Chinese stealth fighter means " Eighty-One" which was the date of the establishment of Peoples Liberation Army on August 1, 1927.

At around 96' ,it will be the turn to visit the first Nimitz class nuclear powered carrier, CVN 68 Nimitz. Note the four Tomcats and the local tourist transport boat.

Rich Quinlan appeared in 1987 FSM magazine showing his 1:72 Nimitz carrier. This is not a static model . He used the decals similar to the movie" The Final Countdown " for his planes.

This angle shows the size of Nimitz is huge. Note the elevator's rail.
