    He just posted something in the yahoo wehrmacht reenactor group.....he said something about switching warehouses and loss of a partner......does that excuse his silence for a few months though? Im sure he has lost some customers, but his junkies will look beyond this.

      If Ed can take the time to post on an e-group then why can he not take the time and post on his own websites twitter page? I would guess that's where most of his customers get their info from?

        I was just informed that Ed told some other folks that Ray, his old helper had quit, he was moving, the potential new buyers never bought him out, he had over 2,000 emails backed up, he was bad at shipping......usual excuses.
        Hopefully he will stop taking orders until he gets caught up and gets everyone who has sent in money satisfied. As I have said before, Ed is basically a pretty good ol' boy that I have known for years. I think that he is basically honest but simply over-extended.

          Ed has finally contacted me and others by e-mail ( as was mentioned above )
          he has told me the reasons why the order is running late , one of them is ray is joining the police force , the recent move caused some problems apparently , anyway , im going to give Ed the benefit of the doubt as he has said the order will be sent this week . ( i hope )
          i will let you all know what happens .

            Hi all,
            Just letting you guys know I finally received my order.

            First order 03/02/2010
            6 x DAK caps
            6 x Heer buckles

            Second order 03/03/2010
            1 x DAK cap

            The parcel was posted on 08/04/2010 and arrived today 14/04/2010. But the quality wasn't as good as before. Good luck to you all.

                Hi there,
                Besed on the quality of the cap and insignal i believe the product was made in China. +

                My 2 cents - confirmed order - charged CC - placed order to China - material search - copy/made - ship back to USA - sewn the insignia - checking - confirm shipping address - ship to customers....Could be the reason where they took so long.

                I believe everyone should get their orders.

                  Hmmm.... Interesting indeed. It has been a couple of years since I got anything from LB but the quality was still quite high then. If the quality has slipped to the point that it is being mistaken for Chinese stuff, maybe he has given up on making his own merchandice and started doing like so many other American businesses are doing, letting the Chinese produce the items at a fraction of what it would cost to manufacture here.

                      Likewise still waiting for January order. I think the most frustrating thing is that there is just No responce from Lost Battalions to phone calls or Emails. The ignorance is just unprecidented. I have been a loyal customer for over ten years, and now get treated like a dog poop.

                          Sounds like to me that when things went bad this person who is now in charge had no guts to tell long time friends and buyers that they were haveing a problem and would get back to them as soon as possiable.I mean for years these guys were nunber 1 and had a great rep. but things went bad or whatever and they could not even take the time to let you know their problem.Man whats up with that! I mean they took your money and from what others have said that when they got their items they were not up to LB standards as the buyer had been getting all along.So what you are saying is that LB F you(forgot)and did not care how long you and your group were good friends and buyers is this right?If this is right they suck.

                            Hi guys , latest update on my LB order , the credit card supplier has got my money back
                            i would highly recommend that anyone thinking about purchasing anything from LB think twice , its more hassle than its worth unless you are living in the US and are able to go to there shop in the US .

                            this has been a very disappointing series of events .

                            to all who are still waiting , i wish you the best .

                              I have also had success with my Credit card company getting me a refund Which afterall is better than a box of Chinese, made in Dallas substitutes. As for Ed and his business, I sincerely hope he ends up bankrupt Anyone even considering ordering from them DON'T

                                Wow, this is really sad news. I had purchased a set of HBT's about a year ago and from the time I placed the call to delivery was only about a week. They were very friendly on the phone and helpful in figuring out what was the best size.

                                Sadly, Dennis J is right, when it goes bad, it goes bad very quickly !!!!!
