Hello,
thats right Daniel. But that doesnt matter. The place where she was buried in Carinhall, the tomb in the earth is still there. Only earth covers it. The whole room under earth is still there. I know that she was buried 5 years after war in her hometown in sweden. You can find pictures of the grave in
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg...=gr&GRid=23263
Sorry for my english. The Goebbels "Waldhof am Bogensee" is a Villa
Best wishes
Uli

such a terrible shame so many of these amazing buildings were bombed to hell
I know all the reasons etc,
but such a better idea would have been to fence them off for a while, restore and re-use. Some of these places were the absolute pinnacle of '30s and 40's German architecture
I know, I know, Rotterdam etc...
anyway, here's a scene of Carinhall 1945 rubble

Fascinating thread. I think I saw a another thread a while back that showed one of the lions of Carinhall which was subsequently moved to a city and still exists today? When you go home
Tell them for us and say
