Here is a Figured White Oak case which houses my West Wall collection. It's a very unique grain, This is not your typical white oak grain pattern. I have enough wood from the same board for 3 more cases in 10x13 only.

          Hi Jay,
Ya know, I wasn't really sure how the Birch case was going to turn out when I first bought it, but after it was finished I had to add this to the case list. I just picked up another piece of Birch, figured like the other, but it's a lighter color, that's the one I sent you pics of. Not really sure how this new piece is going to look when finished, color and all, but I'm making one right after your two are finished and I will post that one just as soon as it's done.
          Dave

This is a pics of the felt molded in the shape of a mothers cross, and as the glass pushes down the item the pressure is transfered to the foam rather than the award itself, and what little pressure is left is what holds the item in place.

                Gun Case and Dagger case.

                Hi All,
Just finished a gun case as well as a dagger case. Both are deeper than the standard cases I make. The gun case is made from a piece of Black Walnut with some burling in it. The burl is caused by a fungus that in turn causes the grain to scatter so to say and causes this marbling effect. Pain in the rear to finish though.

                      Dagger Case.

Here is a case that we made for a friend of ours. His dad was a Vietnam vet and just passed, so he wanted to display his dad's K-Bar which he said was used in hand-to-hand combat. We used figured birch.
