Gentlemen -

After a long time here's one more from my LAH/Dietrich collection. (Hunting license, clearly carried in his wallet, with all addendums until 1944)

As my dear friend and Sepp's staff member told me last year when I shared it with him:

"That document represents everything our "Sepp" stood for. Hunting was his lifelong passion and his hunting buddies were all present at his funeral."


Note the date of issuance: May 28, being Sepp's birthday...presumably a present from family, friends or comrades.

2014 was an incredible collecting year with many rare items coming to the market.

I would like to share with you the New Year's Greetings I received two days ago from a friend working 400 km above our heads and flying at 24,000 km/h on board the International Space Station (Expedition 41).

Some of you know that Space Exploration is my growing (third) collecting field...

So in 2015, let's all enjoy collecting, not argue and fight all the time.

Best were our son's birthday greetings sent by A.S. and A.G. back in November. The original letter was returned to earth on board the recent Dragon supply ship and A.S. will send it over to our house once he has returned from space in a few months.

Love this stuff and the equipment.....oh man, you know I can talk hours of that.

We should do a collector's meeting in early January...!
