            This is an Ehrenpokal which I purchased in London over 20 years ago and was awarded to Oberfeldwebel Lothar Tiekenhenrich. Interesting to note that he received it on the same date as the one Richard Gordon shows in post #10 which is 3.3.1941, therefore several crew members must have received goblets on the same day. It is made of 835 Silver.

            I researched Tiekenhenrich via Deutsche Dienstelle and they informed me he was in 4. Staffel KG55 on 19.09.1939 and moved to Stab II/ KG55 on 23.04.1940.

            Nice to have a Pokal awarded to a Luftwaffe crew member who took part in the Battle of Britain.

            Tiekenhenrich died in Porta Westfalica on 16.12.1974.

            Does anyone have a photo of Tiekenhenrich?

              Hi Stan,
              Super goblet, I'll see what info I can find out about him for you.

                    This one is not a new one, but a recreation of the photo Obfw.Hugo Wolf of 5th staffel KG55, possibly on the day he received his DKiG. It would be even better if I could twist his head. {all awards and badges are original to the tunic}

                      A close up of his awards, also in the photo you can see he has a camera, so I've included an Agfa 1938 dated camera for the pose.

                        In post #37 I showed this letter from Hptm. Wolfgang Witte to the future Knightscross winner and II gruppe Kommandeure Wilhelm Mylius.
                        I've been very lucky to pick up recently, three of Witte's documents. A promotion document, his Oct 38 medal document and his spange bar in bronze document.
                        Wolfgang Witte was staffelkapitane of 1st staffel KG55 from 23/8/1944 to 12/2/1945 when he was killed in a crash while flying a Me109. He was the last aircrew member of KG55 to die while flying in the war.

                              Hi Jim. All most desirable, a super grouping. Might that be a leather flight jacket on the wicker chair? I want it all. Best, Bill Bourque

                                No problem that is not a new one (it better not be ) as I never tire of looking at it. Wonderful piece.
