Cap is in a sealed glass case making it slightly difficult to photograph
Judging by the streaked material and sewing it could well be a Halfar....love the colour.
'Frankenstein' is a nick-name - that's the town of manufacture. The cap is a Schlesische - & superb - as is the Halfar.

      Afrika Panzer Ring

On a slightly different subject, I was lucky enough to be able to add this nice Pz Ring from Tunis to my collection ,, Inscriptions are as follows:

      19 TUNIS 42
      2/ P.Z.P.I.BTL

      NR.1027
      PZ. GRUP. " AFRIKA '

If there is anyone out there can give some life to these inscriptions please feel free to en-lighten us ..

      Cheers

Very nice ring Paul, that ring would go very nice with my newly aquired Rommel signed Pionier KVK Award Document & Soldbuch.

            Cheers

Thanks Paul, making the move North has also been good on the local collecting front. As well our dollar is not so bad these days long may it continue .

Another nice little item to walk in the door today but not specificly Dak but definately tropical is this salty vehical penant which has faded considerably . Has nice remnants of Tropical paint to the brackets.

Have to thank Matt for these goodies

Not sure if this is tropical, but it sure looks cool.
I picked it up last Saturday at our local show, it had the belt inside with the bullets. Original Paint.
