here some dates about his injuries (got them from the german WAST, thats an administration where you can get infos about german soldiers of ww2):

- wounded 25th jan. 1943 in gabés, returned to his unit 27th jan. 1943

- wounded 23rd march 1943 in el-hamad oun ez-zivum/north-africa, got into the military hospital in afrikandie, injuries: shell splinters in the face
=> was send to sfax 26th march 1943 by/with junkers ju52

- was send to bad reichenhall for convalescent leave on 2nd april 1943.

Here are my only items related to the DAK. The only item I ever wanted was the famous cufftitle made in camelhair. I found a nice full-length example first, after searching for a long time. I wanted one in an impeccable state, but not too mint either. I feel this one is perfect! Then later, I found a superb document on the e-stand from a respected collector. Obergefreiter Kurt Thiede served in Panzer-Regiment 6 and the document is signed by Oberst Friedrichs. Very unfortunately, I haven't found the first name of Oberst Friedrichs yet. Finally a picture and the Italo-German medal with matching ribbon bar completes the set. None of the items came together, but they all match very well when seen on scans.

First of all to all of you : THESE BOOTS WERE NOT OFFERED TO ALL IN THE SAME TIME !!!!! I first offered them TO NZMark but he had not enought funds. Than few days later I offered them to Mark G but he hadn't answered me ( he aswered me few hours later after I sold them ) . Than I offered them to DAKCollector1 ( and that was my worst mistake - cause this guy is making ONLY PROBLEMS ). AND price for all of you was the same price ( NZMark offered me trade and some money cause he hadn't enought funds).
I'm not going explain it twice cause I already did to Mark G and others.

Second of all : DAKcollector1 I suggest you to check previous photos you have attached to this thread !! The same "hole" is shown there !! I have shown you and all others EVERY DAMAGE in those boots , and every detail ( I have sent eacly the same photos to all 3 of you )!!!! and was selling them as they ARE !! now you trying to make me BAD in eyes of others while you knew EXACLY what you was buying !! I lost because of you 100 euro cause you said " I have some problems with my paypal and can pay only in US dollars " , and NOW you trying to fraud money from your bank , from paypal and from me , saying that received nothing and that your credit card was used without your knowledge and permission what is completely lie.

ONLY NZMark ( and two or 3 friends of mine who are also members here ) seen how they look before I start my work with them !! As I stated from beging; I was selling them ONLY because I have no time and power and money to make my work going on.

WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY : DAKcollector1 cause he could do exacly the same to all of you !!!!

Without getting into a storm....
I can attest to Marcin's claim about the boots condition before and after he worked on them. Marcin, you did a wonderful preservation job on them without ruining them in any way. I believe you did them a good service. I have the photos you speak of and you are completely correct - IF I had the funds I would have bought them myself, but sadly, the timing was not good for me.
I will make no further comment.

Gents,

I too would have LOVED to have these boots!!!

The stitching holding the soles were badly dry-rotted on both sides. Huge openings. One side is deteriorated & opened from heel to toe. I don't know what was disclosed to others, but I was unaware of their condition when I paid $1650. They were returned today at my expense.

I am very sorry it has gone this way, and make NO accusations.

YOU HAVE SEEN EXACLY WHAT YOU WAS BUYING - I SENT YOU VERY DETAIL HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOS SHOWING EVERY DAMAGE , EVERY DETAIL OF THOSE BOOTS . You are simply person without honour - I lost because of you 100 euro because you lie to me that you can't send paymnet in EURO but ONLY IN DOLLARS.
I waisted my time and make very nervous . I could sell them to Mark G instead of you. I regret that but my mistake can't be repaired and time can't be turned back.
