As well as some helmet and a few sets and singles of shoulderstraps.

        That should do for now.

            Hi Mark

Yes lets keep this thread going strong. Just Outstanding display. Its hard for me to pick a favorite of yours. The faded tan stripped tunic is incredible ! Even though i have a sickness for the sage green ones like your Pz tunic and one other You currently own

              Thanks for the compliments guys.
The tunics shown are only three of nine 1st pattern tropical tunics. I want to take detailed shots of each one soon, so stay tuned. Maybe I'll even revive the tropical tunic thread.
I have also just added another helmet and a few sets of shoulderstraps. I'm currently waiting on three sets including the set which disappeared late last year but thankfully turned up again recently.
I've really taken to photo albums of late and have added a few including one ID'd to a panzerman from 1kp/PzRegt5; Werner Fenck. The seller didn't know his name or unit but luckily I recognised Werner and quickly jumped in order to get the album and keep it together. Some of Werner's photographs were used in a German book on PzRegt5.

              Take care

Fantastic collection Mark. Congratulations on the new home and being able to spread out in your own collecting room. I look forward to seeing more photos.

Nice catch on the PzRgt 5 pictures, you know I'm envious there.

Here is a little guy that came into my place not too long ago. Back of the buckle is a bit rusty and im gonna have to clean it up a bit but I still like it, makes a great display from the front and after a good and delicate cleaning will be a great addition. I like it and am glad to have it. Matt

                            Matt,
Careful how you clean that back - there are ways and means that this can be achieved with sympathy to the buckle...looks like a 1941 Brehmer? NICE!!
                            Mark - as always!
Been quiet here - only a couple of new tunics and these two m40's that came in the same week about three weeks ago...
Great to see this thread bumped up to the top!

The 1943 dated cap is a brother to another I have, only a wee bit older...
The other cap has a faint maker's stamp for what I believe to be a Frankfurt maker, and I am leaning towards a 1942 date of manufacture.

                                Mark,

I don't plan on getting to crazy, no wire brush or anything like that Maybe a very light tooth brushing and I do have a anti corrosion fluid that was given to me by a friend out here. The guys works on US military stuff as an anti-corrosion expert. The stuff works great at stopping the rust in its tracks and this one needs to be saved asap. Im glad to add it to my small collection.

                                Sexy caps as well! Matt
