I appretiate the kind comments guys. Turbo, collecting is a passion in my house, everyone collects something. I love militaria and is fairly good with interior decorating, so it is nice to be able to combine the two. Space just always seems to be the issue. Eric looking forward to your update. Jacques

Thank you for the kind words, it is much appreciated. I have a lot of questions about the box frames. Here is some advise for anyone interested.

You first have to get a box made of some type of wood / plywood to fit the
tunic in. The exposed or inside then get gets covered with acid free framers
mount board of the color of your choice. You then close the box with a
picture frame of your choice, that is attached to the box with hinges
(easier to open and close the box frame), but it is not necessary. You should cosider using UV protected glass. You then put the tunic on a well padded coat hanger (sorry Paul) and mount/ hang it in the box frame.

You can leave ventilation holes in the side of the box covered with fine
mesh, for ventilation, were it in unobtrusive. It is also advisable to put
silicon bags, like you get with pills, to absorb any damp in the box. The
whole thing can be made by a good picture framer, or you can do it
yourself, the box part is easy, not the frame. The size can be determined
by yourself and the tunic, the depth of the box is about 80mm. Jacques

                                Jacques,

Wonderful collection! Best around and well displayed. You should start a thread just on the assembly of the wood, shadow box frames and stuff!

Also, this tunic looks very familiar?
