I have a simple question for you. Your collection has inspred me to frame my tunics a well. How do you keep the tunic in place? It looks to me from the pics that there is some sort of hanger in the frame. By the way, you have amazing stuff and thanks for sharing.

Believe it or not South Africans fought in World War 1 and 2.

Without a doubt one of the best displays I have ever seen

I posted here in the early days of this thread, but I just have to say it again: BEST WAR ROOM EVER!

This is, without a doubt, the nicest, coolest-looking, and best displayed collection that I have ever seen. Even the outside of your house looks awsome Jacques! You are truly living the dream.

Very very nice and tastefully displayed.

What does your wife think of your corner of the house? My junk has been relegated to a room with a locking door my wife can hide from the guests . The dark "little secret". I guess the only reason she tollerates it is because there's a mix of German, American and Japanese..that way she doesn't have to explain to guests who stuble upon the bunker that her husband is not a Nazi. "He collects all WW2 stuff....he just like the German stuff more"- my wife.

What a wonderfully brilliant collection. Brilliant doesn't even do your collection justice.

Thanx guys for the nice comments. My wife actually enjoys my collection and takes an active part in it. It has actually invaded the rest of my house as well. Funnily I often use my house as a marketing tool and I have never had a negative comment from a single visitor. Each one is just taken aback by the historical significance, and there are a lot of oohs and aahs. Followed by a total lack of historical knowledge. Jacques

Martin thank you, I do try and collect with a definite plan. Bill, coming from you it is a compliment. A lot of these items originated from the Ruptured Duck, especially early on. Jacques
