Absolutely phenomenal, Jacques!!!!!!!! I've been following the evolution of your "war room" over the last few years and I must say you have truly outdone yourself with the latest round of pictures.
This is by far 'the' most impressive display of any collection I have ever seen posted here on WAF, and one truly worthy of the praise it is receiving. It's not just a simple assembly of dozens upon dozens of common items that one can go out and buy in a very short period of time (any of us can do this) but a highly focused collection acquired over time, with a real eye and appreciation for extremely high quality and desirable pieces. Equally as impressive is the amount of time, money and attention to detail you have invested to preserve your collection and display it in such a aesthetically pleasing - and visually stunning - manor
IMHO your collection room is second to none, not to mention a true inspiration

Thanx again,guys. Rob, your actually spot on with your assessment of my collection. I set out to collect items that represents all aspects of the german combat forces of the WW2 era and tried to get as representative a collection as possible. There for I have no duplicates in my collection, everything is different in way or another and is from different theatres and eras of the war. That makes it really difficult to sell anything, because it always leaves a gap. Some thing took a long time and lot of patience to aquire. Here is one of your unique contributions. The Kurland entry in both soldbuch and wehrpass, one of my favorites, especially with the personal letter with it. JacquesComment

I was not happy with the display on my sniper grouping, so I had that redone in two frames on a purple velvet. I came out much better this time. JacquesComment
