Jacques this is a true inspiration, as I said before in the begining of this thread. Now I have something to look forward as an example how is the best way to display a collection. I am in the middle of my toy room's desing and yours will be the blue print of it.

You did very, very well and having Bill Shea's feedback you can't ask for more.

Display / Storage case for medals ?

Also compliments from Mexico on this tasteful display of your collection.

May I ask if and how you display/store orders, medals and insignias?

I want to have a display cabinett built within these coming weeks and I am still looking for examples in order to finally make up my mind on design and functionality...

      Gruss,
      Markus

Rudolfo, that is a huge compliment. If there is one collection of tne WAF that I would like to see in person it is yours.

Markus, thanx here is a display idea, that might work for you. It combines medals, paperwork and headgear. I just found it better than a diplay cabinet in that it puts the emphasis on the item and it takes up less space. Jacques

                      Observation

                      Jacques,

I don't want to be a bad sport, but is there a reason for why the War Mert Cross 1st class with swords and the award cases are turned upside down? (Headstand?)

                      Gruss,

Markus. good eye. The framer does not follow TR history. The mistake has been corrected, it irritated the hell out of me. As for a RK. I just cannot get myself to spent that much money on an EK on Steroids. Jacques

Yes Jaques, listen to the man! Youve got everything else so you may as well get a RK. I reckon it would go nicely with your para tunic display.
