      Steven,
Very nice. I find the one attributed to Assmann most intresting with its different background texture. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing all these photos with us, Steven! Just as Chet, I enjoyed the last ones with the 'different' background instead of the usual 'dots'. And next comes the other classes, I presume?

              Cheers,
              Laurens

Thanks Laurens, I have always found those to be quite curious. I think that the examples posted today are some of the most interesting ones that I have (although I love them all). Upon my return, I will have photos of a few gold, but mostly silver examples to share. I almost forgot-a ground dug example or two as well.

I like the TR BWB's. They look good! I have a few of them myself floating around.

                  I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

A nickel-silver unmarked Deschler. My favorite variation of the WB.

Thanks Chris, and it is good to hear from you again. I don't blame you for "expelling" me from class, the master must not divulge all of his knowledge .

                            Hi Steven:

This was the first time I caught this thread.

A truly impressive collection you have there. I really liked the ES and HT marked Imperial examples, and I must say I share your favorite. I LOVE that nickel silver Deschler SWB. This has aways been my favorite pattern of Third Reich wound badge....and in nickel silver....yeah baby!!!!

Thanks for sharing this portion. of what must be a stellar wound badge collection. I'll keep periodic tabs on this thread because I would love to see more.

                            Dennis

Very nice collection. I was wondering if maybe you might know who the maker is of this WB. Since you have quite the extensive collection.

The back of it has thick paint.

Great thread I missed before! Steven & Ronny, can you please tell me how you came to think that the black WBs with the non-pebbled backgrouds were made by Assmann?
                                Cheers, Frank
