Hello Andy, John and all other collectors. Here are the last pictures of the J-Feder.

      Firing/ignition part.
The special device (with spring) on the left is used to arm the firing pin.
Then, with the help of the tool (showed below), the primer cap (above left) is firmly screwed on.

With each "J-Feder" came a maintenance booklet in which different control aspects of the clock are noted : general reliability, time distortion after 21 days, waterproof test, date of reception by the army, maker, Waffen-Amt stamp, serial number of the clock, etc.,.

Hi John, sorry I don't have any radio.
I only have something that 'looks like' on first sight (as it is housed in a radio transmitter) : it is a mine detector. I'll try to post pictures one day if someone is interested.

Thank you Drew. I wish you many happy years of collecting … but remember that you will have to restless do your 'homework', just like we all do … or should do !

While looking at my files I came across the picture of the "SS-dot-pattern winter trousers" John talked about some days ago. So I post it here. The colors are more vibrant than on the SS-dot-pattern panzer jacket that has been posted under http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15777&page=3&pp=15<O</O

                        Hello "The Mummy",
Dis à ton Général d'arréter de sourire ç'a fait pas sérieux.
Avec quelques bandelettes tu pourrais en faire un général blessé ou à la débandade...
Une bonne poignée de main à l'Amiral, comme toujours.

As my 'friends' François and Michel like to tease me about the mannequins, I will show the next uniform on a more neutral support.
