All this has been made possible through relationships developed on the forum with some world class collectors.
I've really enjoyed this thread so much that I thought to share my 1st mannequin too, even if a bit incomplete. Donors for the missing items are welcome
I'm also happy to say that except the belt everything else came from forum members! The mannequin I also got got from our own Bob Sellers, great guy, great price and very fast shipping! Thanks Bob

Wow - ingsoc39, your dot set is fantastic. And Yannis, that is great looking FJ project. In fact, I am amazed at the number of collectors who are in to displaying their collections on mannequins (before the Internet, I thought I was alone in doing this sort of thing)... being able to share displays with others of like mind is one of the biggest rewards of this hobby.
Thanks John-M..in my opinion.the uniforms only really come to life when they are more or less "alive" on mannequins (or people) and we get a chance to view in full color what they just may have looked like period wise.yoru smocks are fantastic John..keep the pics coming..I've got lots to share! thanks for the nice words..I love setting up display! Hopefuly.andive been saying this two years..my website will be done one day!
John..from the sleeve of your mannequin I think you have the mid dark grey rayon lining on your SS dot? MIne has this..and I've seen an identical maker's dot jacket as mine in a wondeful dutch collection..all the details in the manufacturer.and there are some..are present in both pieces..both same Rb number..acquired years apart like new~
John..those dot trousers I have are unissued..I have a second pair which are even better in color and variety of different shades of material in dot used..three in total..

Thanks for your encouraging words guys! Seing setups like yours and others from this thread is really insiring!!!
I agree 100% with Scot.
John.thought you may enjoy seeing this..its the hbt (first model) flak jacket..Ifound photos of this being worn by MANY SS tiger crews..the earlierst Kurk in July 43.and was I happy to seethat photo..its totally identified as the tiger has the nice kurk dancing troll..and I've seen one other photo documented to a briefing before kursk with about 40 ss tankers..1/3 are wearing this jakcet/pants..however..there is nothing in the photo itself to identify the exact date..(to kursk) the other photo is perfect and only one I've ever seen to totally doucment this to that battle
forgot the photo..I like this soft grey background..cotton.earlier did it on a brown/tan paper background..which is too reflective.and I dont like..so have to reshoot those sets..but need a webstermaneqquin.smaller..to shoot the rest of the collection..
