    Nice collection, Mark.
Where did you find such life-like mannequins? I search everywhere on the Internet and cannot find one!

        Hi There!
Thank you for the compliment . I make them from odd parts cobbled together. Some of the heads I buy from the US, (Webster Displays - great starting point), some are re-modelled from car filler over shop mannequins. Some were found at dump sites (43 trop' mannequin, for instance). Legs are not so important, as long as the posture suits the upper torso.
I've started 'jointing' the arms at the elbows to give them more range of poses, as I often put on displays here. The public, and other collectors find that the realism a good mannequin brings lifts the whole presentation.
It takes about four hours to paint a head poperly - the eyes are the part that pulls it all together - get them wrong, and it's back to the thinners for a big clean-up!
        Thanks again for the feedback!
        Best Regards,
        Mark.

          Sure Glenn,
I'd paint mannequins on commission - why not?
Just let me know what character you require!

David! I think you know it's because I'm not as handsome as the plastic guys. I'm working on that. Thanks for the comments Mark.

                    Hi All,
Just thought I'd add a few pictures of a display that took place last October.
The mg's are borrowed from a great friend, as well as the 'rabbits ears'.
                    Enjoy!
