I agree, it's obvious what occurred. Posting additional pics of the helmet wouldn't really accomplish anything. I think people are just following this thread like women follow soap operas.

I disagree with Nooky people are following the thread because one of the so called good guys has been cheating and lying to us all the time.I find it hard to beleive he got away with it as long as he did other than the fact he did good and bad in the same breath and had the backing of some of the other good ol boys in the hobby.I really thought that Ken would have come forward and stood up for himself. The prices he charges and the clames he made about how honest he was etc. Just goes to show you that you never know.

          Enjoy your hobby

I agree with Ty and Nooky. Everything has been said already and collectors on their own have to make their dicission wheter what to do with the information given in this thread or not to do. I myself haven't bought anything from Ken, and am now curtaintly not planning on doing so in the future. Not only because of the dishonesty of Ken in this case and maybe more in the past (and I am not accusing him of any more sales and discribtions he has not been totaly honest with, that's why the word maybe) ,but also out of principle. To ruin a historical artifact (that's what helmets, awards etc. are) as a respectable dealer is a mega nono to me.

To Dennis J, I don't think he got away with it, his rep is destroyed and people who are willing to buy from him will forever think of this case. Time will take its toll, he will not feel it now, but over time he will beginning to feel what the consequences are for his action.

              Kind Regards,
              Dennis

Ok I think its time to bring this thread to a close. I think Ken has had more than enough time to respond and the buyer has decided not to post pics.
This thread will allways be here and a simple search will allways bring it back up for future reference.
