    Hi Michal,
You have a great collection of well marked zelts there - just wanted to say thanks for sharing them. Excellent call on the resemblance to the head part of the print. Maybe we should now call the head of the print - TMNT.

    Cheers

This Original WWI just arrived so I thought I share it with the rest of you zelties.

Seems this maker has been building zelts for a long time. For comparison, I've attached a pic of the same maker from 1932 from a zelt in my collection. These are really huge maker stamps but very uncommon to find. I've only seen 3 and they were on early 30's dated zelts.

      Hope you enjoy.
      Cheers

……..and finally 2 "Big Head" zelts arrived today.
The first has an RBNr. which Im fairly certain 0/0125/0014. I need to soak the corner in water first to confirm that but its a fairly common maker.

The repeat on this zelt is a wappen 61cm.

…….and finally a comparison between the 2 Big Head zelts.

The left one has a repeat of 57cm with the 61cm on the right.

            Cheers

Here is one that I do not believe has been posted in this thread before. Schirm & Mittler Reutlingen 1939.

Thanks Mark. Today I want to share my 2 new zelts. Not mint, but for me - very interesting. Both are "BIG HEADS":-)
First one - early one with alu buttons. MM "Max Scheffel, 1940, Grünbach Voghtland", stamped "FLAK KAS..." and with soldier name "Kupszyk" Lenght beetwen heads - 57cm.

Second one is without MM, but it's very dark camo (one of the darkness I ever seen) , and mix of parts - alu rings with zinc buttons. Lenght between heads - 61cm.

Decided to post this zelt maker before I list it for sale tomorrow on the Estand.
This is a very nice '44 dated beauty complete with all of its' brown bakelite buttons.

                  Best,
                  Vilja

One zelt from my zeltbahn collection, usual unmarked zinc buttons zelt, but the splitter ended on the edge of cloth piece and there is a green line instead. Another printing error?

                    Two close ups:

                    Regards,
                    Adam

Undoubtably some sort of print error but it the first time I've seen this and interesting. Wonder how that came to be.

                      Nice zelt Adam.
                      Cheers

                        Michael,

I like your dark zelt as well - these extra dark top coloured zelts are not easy to find. I always like that rich dark greenish colour in contrast with the underside colours. Nice personalized named zelt on top of that. Super piece.
                        Cheers

Thanks mark. Nice to hear, that are other people who loves zelts.

I posted this in another thread but thought I'd also post here so we have a consistant source of maker marks in one thread.

Here is another interesting print flaw I just found and have never seen before. Undoubtably this was part of the artwork that somehow ended up part of the print. Similar to Marcin's zelt with print flaw he posted photos of earlier in the thread.

Although difficult to read, the manufacturer is:

                            Hermann Wighardt
                            Textilwerk Fulda
                            1942

                            Cheers

Another interesting zelts from my collection, enjoy :
                                Alternated/rotated buttonholes+big RBNR

                                Unfinished zeltbahn

And zeltbahn made by Heinrich Hoffman Textilwerk from Wetzlar-Garbenheim. Mint condition. I love the combination of very dark and very bright camo on this zelt. What may be interesting this one is very hard and rough in touch. It is possible that it is because of some kind of impregnation?
