Here's a question for you John, how do you know that eagle was stitched on pre '45?
Answer is you don't know when it was stitched on...could have been '43, '53, '63 etc so there is no way you can honestly state that SS tunic is "untouched".
Dried clay and heavy stains on it proves nothing. It could have been stripped in '45 and worn in a POW camp for all you know.
If restitched insignia proves it's real and just been washed, then anything is acceptable for an "untouched" original SS jacket.
