Mark you have no reason to offer any apologies. Your work was stellar on an enormous and difficult project project. I challenge anyone to do better. To have only a few pieces that slipped through is remarkable.

I admit, your book has not left the end table on my side of the couch since I bought it. I for one, am grateful.

Could you please post a picture of those cyphers with drilled holes? The reason what I ask is because I know two ciphers that claimed to be ground-dug somewhere in Russia, and they have drilled holes in them but no one believes in their story as no cyphers with drilled holes have ever been accepted as original yet

I could only acquire a French-language volume but still greatly enjoy the illustrations.

An author friend once told me that he aimed for excellence, not perfection. This book definitely fits the excellence tag.

It is a wonderful book with so few small mistakes that it exceeds the past reference books.

I invite all critics to produce a book and I will provide any photos and information I can.

Authoring and publishing is a thankless job and I give my salute to those brave souls who make this great effort. It is never too late to have new reference material.

Allow me to repeat myself, "Let me begin by saying IMHO this is the best book on cloth insignia worn by the mainstream formations of the WSS. Also, any book on Third Reich collectables without errors was written by someone playing it too safe and not interested in advancing the knowledge of the hobby. I applaud Mark (and Mike) for producing such a book as this."

Mark, FYI, I can supply photographs of a real sleeve diamond to replace the bogus one on page 165.

It is a super book, and a must like to Angolia SS cloth Bible and the Mollo Uniform book volume.

This is a superb book, and I obtained my copy just after it came out. I am glad Mark could finish Mike's work. . I was fortunate to have lived 15 minutes from Mike.

In my opinion that is not correct. Photos are superb. Only a few you can tell are scans of Mike's old 35mm photos, but that is what Mark had to work with. The vast majority are high quality. The photos are worth the price of the book alone.

Got barked at by the Mrs. as I was flipping through the book for the 1000th time when I was 'supposed' to be listening to her....
