    WTF!

    I suspect Robert meant to say;

    "its NOT OK"

    in context with the rest of his post,

      Is there any dealer known for selling SS items in the UK?

      There you should find the answer.

        Wow Dennis, that was a super-speedy capture of a sentence before I corrected it less than 45 seconds after reading I'd omitted a word. Thanks for catching it. The sentence reads correctly in the actual thread.

          "That is not my argument. I am absolutely not saying it's OK to sell any replica as real for any reason - where did you get that crackpot idea?......."

          Maybe you should go and reread your post throughout this thread. Btw you have had no first hand interaction, facts or information with regards to these items or the individual involved, yet you have extreme opinions on the topic, strange?

          I am quite clear and have made up my mind as to where you stand in this hobby.J

            Does that sound like someone who would unwittingly sell not one or two but numerous dubious camo items? Not only that but he then conveniently "forgets" that he ever sold those items.

            In fairness, I doubt very much that he is the mastermind.
            I couldn't think of a better way to put it so I'll just quote myself and add this.

            I very much doubt we will ever find out who the real mastermind is/was.
            That kind of info very rarely, if ever sees the light of day.

            Simply put, a lot of people were obviously involved in this scam but Lorenzo was the one who got caught with his pants down.

              - If you have direct knowledge, please post some facts. You have failed to do so.

              - Your assessment of me is of 0 interest - you are just a keystroke in a thread. You might want to focus on the discussion at hand, however, which is not about you and me.

                  As the "academic" debate over process continues, I am puzzled as to why no one has commented on this cover;

                      This is what I find funny there is quite a few ? So your saying they all sold fake covers and only one or two knew they were fake ?
                      Or put another way they all sell fake third reich militaria and its up to the buyer to know there stuff.

                              I'm saying I was told that there were UK dealers who found out (along with no-doubt European and U.S. dealers) and who cleared out any of these they may have acquired and didn't touch covers again.
