      The cap shown is a fatigue 1955 Bundesheer pattern for the Arbeitsanzug fatigue uniform of West Germany’s army. The specimen is made of sturdy Moleskin fabric, a variation introduced in the ‘60s. Not a befitting comparison to illustrate wartime sewing features.
