Yes that's very very nice, there seems to be very few about, I think I have seen more visors foe sale than panzer caps.

Dealer prices are different and it's another world.Real market si different. Of course you'll never sell a panzer cap at 4955 EUR. But if you want pay this amount i'm ready to give one :-)
I've paid a side cap complete 2800, I find for a friend one at 3000, and in these days for about 5500/5800 eur an officer panzer + NCO panzer are going to a friend.
Now if someone would pay 5000 EUR for a NCO without farbe... Free to pay.

              Cap

If those prices left you dizzy, an SS Dachau Panzer M-43 is the budget way to go. They're easy to authenticate, and they're usually in very good condition or unissued. But they ARE real!

Yes they do seem to be a rare item. No wonder the prices are high. Apart from the one on Virtual Grenadier I have not seen one for a while.

As SgtStandard says a cheaper alternative is the Dachau M43 Panzer cap - but then it's not the sidecap.

Thought I would add a photo for the hell of it.

OOps!...........I spotted some serious irregularities in those caps. A hand's-on inspection is imperative. Please send to me for verification and storage in smoke-free environment.

I like the classic side cap, not a fan on mint dachau caps, I like used items.

Just curious, I am only collecting Luftwaffe and I am not familiar with SS items:

What is a Dachau M43 panzer cap and why it is a cheaper alternative?
