How rare are REAL SS Dot Pattern Panzer Wraps?

How many of you know of real unquestionable examples of these in collections? I know of two here in California, does anyone know of any others?

And if you do know of an example, do they have original insignia?

I knew of one that walked into a shop here in Milwaukee years ago. It was later sold at Manions.

If its a early issue (ie shoulder board loops & sleeve eagle) they are scarce , I have only seen a few originals .Later issue pieces are more often seen.

The Oakleaf pattern are much rarer and the reed green HBT the rarest (IMHO )

I have two unissued ones here, quite mint and acquired about 8 years apart. I know of a third unissued set, pants and jacket. Not as rare as the Oak but not falling off trees in the condition I collect. I have seen a half dozen I like in collections. I believe the matching pants are more scarce.

The dot pattern in smooth cloth is also much rarer than the one in HBT pattern !

For a thirty seen in hbt, I've only seen 2 in smooth cloth and always in a bad shape !

The numbers we are talking about would seem consistent with SS sniper veils. Whether or not you choose to term them as rare or not, They are not offered up for sale often. Like anything I believe condition and availability factors into their being scarce.

                    is it rare >

a matching jacket & pants set are very hard to find in mint un-issued condition.

But they would make a great mannequin.

Does anyone have pictures of these wraps or sets that they can post?

Here's mine, a late war example. I have a pair of shoulder boards, not shown on this photo.
